We welcome you all to the 5th chapter of Caerimonia Nidrosiæ Festival!

We strive to present the best contemporary Black Metal bands in a city we are proud to call home, offering you more than ‘just’ the music.
2 days, 6 carefully selected bands, the traditional record fair, and exclusive merch await. In addition, we will recommend locations of interest and relevance to both the city and the festival.

THE LINEUP

As usual, the lineup is built around bands from the city and those we have worked with over the years—often connected to the record label Terratur Possessions. This time, we welcome back MARE and WHOREDOM RIFE, two monoliths of Black Metal originating from Trondheim, Nidaros. Another return to the festival is SYN, who debuted at Caerimonia Nidrosiæ two years ago and now comes back with a new record (to be released later this year) under their belt. Trust us—it’s absolutely peak performance all the way.
LVCIFYRE will play their first-ever gig in Norway, and it’s an absolute honor! The band is a titanic live force and will blow us all away, mark my words! The same goes for KRINGA, a tremendous force of nature on stage, delivering wild and possessed Black Metal shows that always turn heads wherever they play. Lastly, THRONE OF KATARSIS, a classic Norwegian Black Metal band, returns to the stage after more than 10 years on hiatus!

THE VENUE

Byscenen is one of Trondheim’s oldest and most professional venues, located in the heart of Nidaros. It offers everything you need from opening until closing: food, bars, music, and DJs! The venue is in short walking distance to basically everything in the city, with the Nidaros Cathedral only a 4 minute walk away.

Caerimonia Nidrosiæ is organized in full by Terratur Possessions and Byscenen.
